"Macho Man" Randy Savage

Oh Yeah! Those two words signify an instantly recognizable catchphrase, belonging to one man. One of the all-time greats in "Macho Man" Randy Savage. While Savage had a long career prior to entering the World Wrestling Federation in 1985 it was there he would rise to superstardom.

Savage was immediately presented as something special, being touted as "the top free agent in wrestling" with all the established managers looking to sign him. Savage would eventually shock the world by declining all of them and introducing Miss Elizabeth (his real-life wife) as his new manager. From there it was one highlight after another with Savage almost immediately starting a hot feud with champion Hulk Hogan, winning the Intercontinental

title in 1986 from Tito Santana, having one the greatest matches of all-time at WrestleMania III  with Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat in 1987 and in a surprising turn of events, turned babyface later that year. Savage would actually eclipse Hogan in popularity for a short time and ultimately win his first WWF  World Title in a tournament at WrestleMania IV. Later that year the "old" Savage began to reappear, accusing his "Megapowers" partner Hogan of lusting after Elizabeth setting up a turn which culminated in Savage dropping the belt at WrestleMania V. Savage would remain at the top of the card topping the legendary Ric Flair for a second WWF title in 1992 and eventually jumping to WCW  where he won an additional four world titles. While Savage, unfortunately, passed away in 2011 "Macho Madness" will live forever!
